Beautiful coffee shop in a great setting! It’s our 3rd time here so far and the drinks are delicious & food are well prepared and the service is friendly. The shop’s branding and layout are cohesive and inviting. PThe only drawback is the music volume, which was a bit loud for conversation. Overall, a great spot worth visiting! Highly recommended!

A really cute spot for coffee and breakfast. I came here to telework for a couple of hours, it was pretty busy but the service was friendly and efficient. I ordered an iced vanilla latte which was amazing and the Philly bagel was just as good.

First visit to Underdog Coffee & Bread after lunch with my wife. Great coffee, delicious pastries, and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Looking forward to coming back! ☕🥐❤️

Great place to study or chat with friends. Variety of sweet/savory food (I love the sandwiches!). Indoor/outdoor seating. Parking lot can be a bit crowded at peak weekend times so def come at an off hour if you can.

Visited Underdog Coffee & Bread in Annandale this morning and really enjoyed it. I had the spicy latte, which was incredibly flavorful with a nice warming kick. My kids ordered the hot chocolate and an iced oat matcha latte, and both were excellent. As a fellow small business owner, I always appreciate the care and effort that goes into creating a great local café. It’s wonderful to see another woman-owned coffee shop doing such a great job serving the community. If you're in the Annandale area and looking for a great local coffee spot, definitely stop by.

I stopped by at this coffee shop after an appointment in the area and oh my gosh, 10/10! The staff was super friendly and the space looked very modern and clean. I ordered an iced coconut coffee and iced vanilla oat milk latte. Both were amazing. Wish I lived closer so I could frequent here but I definitely plan to stop by if I’m ever in the area again!

Okay Annandale!!! This new coffee shop is IT. The vibe is immaculate — cozy, warm, and just such a feel-good space. You walk in and immediately feel relaxed. It’s perfect for catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or just romanticizing your morning a little. The service? 10/10. Everyone is so kind and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about what they’re doing 🤍 Now let’s talk about the banana latte because WOW This is hands down the BEST banana latte I’ve ever had in my life. And I don’t say that lightly. It’s smooth, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet — just insanely good. I took one sip and was like… yeah. This is it. I’m obsessed 🤩 Their açai bowls are super fresh and flavorful and the breakfast burrito is so satisfying. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing. Annandale really needed a spot like this. Run, don’t walk 10/10 recommend ✨🤍

Perfect place for a cup of coffee. They have many special drinks which you must try. I tried their banalatte which they blend a whole banana and out it into your latte. So good to a point you want another one. Thye have many non coffee drinks too. Many seatings, both inside and outside.

We stopped into Underdog Coffee & Bread and it was an absolute win across the board. The space is clean, modern, and just has a great laid-back vibe. You can tell right away this is a place people actually enjoy hanging out in, not just grabbing and going. Josh behind the bar was awesome. Took the time to walk me through the beans they use for their cold brew and actually explain it in a way that made sense, not just throwing coffee jargon around. I went with the cold brew and it was smooth, bold, and dialed in perfectly. My wife Jen got a decaf tea, Tom had a London fog, and Erin went with a decaf Americano. Every single drink was spot on. Little details stood out too. Even having water and treats outside for dogs says a lot about the kind of place this is. This was a perfect 5 out of 5 for us. The only small thing I’d love to see is heavy cream as a creamer option, but that’s just a personal preference. Great people, great drinks, great atmosphere. If you’re anywhere nearby, this is an easy stop you won’t regret.

Underdog Coffee & Bread is a popular coffee shop in Annandale that opened a little over a year ago. THE DEETS: They are known for coffee and sammies with specialty lattes like Banalatte and Peanut Cream being super popular. They have a decent little menu offering breakfast sandwiches, bagels, pastries, and acai bowls. The place is cozy, modern, bright, and upscale casual with plenty of outlets, to accommodate your “working” needs. They have both indoor & outdoor seating, and are dog-friendly, making it a great spot for working or relaxing. Plenty of parking available in a private lot and it is handicap accessible. The price point is moderate and affordable and they have top quality ingredients. The service is efficient with a great attention to detail, and it is an all around vibing place! FOOD: So far we have only tried a couple of breakfast sammies and they were delish! This time we got a bacon egg & cheese, with avocado as an add on, and it was on this amazing croissant-esque bagel- so unique & so dang good! Side note: they are opening a second location soon in Baileys Crossroads. Let’s gooooooooo! As always, please support your local small biz! Cheers!
